The Waterbiketeam University of Rostock has been founded in 1990. With the fall of the Berlin Wall east-german students of naval architecture first had the opportunity travelling freely and therefore they first could take part at an IWR.

Rostock| The Waterbiketeam of Rostock University hosts from 4th June 2009 to 7th June 2009 the european studentmasters in racing Waterbikes (IWR - International Waterbike Regatta).
